Beauty professionals from across the U.S. and Canada come together to compete in the Beauty Envision Awards, and although the past couple of years have looked a bit different, what hasn’t changed is the creativity and skill you all have shown us through your work. 

We want this competition to continue to be your outlet for endless creativity, so shoot for the moon– even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars. 😉

find what  inspires you 

Step 1: Take a peek at this year’s 8 categories + corresponding hashtags and find which one speaks to your talent and your work! You can enter by posting new work to Instagram, or by adding your category hashtag and @wellaeducation to captions of looks created in the past year and posted on or after January 15th. You must include both @wellaeducation + your category’s corresponding hashtag in your caption for a valid entry.

Can’t narrow it down to just one? We love that. You can submit your work as many times and to as many categories as you’d like! Just make sure you use the correct hashtags and follow all of the submission guidelines for the categories you choose, and remember, you’ll only be able to qualify to win in one category in the end.

Step 2: Once you’ve selected your category, it’s time to show us what you’ve got!  

#PROtips: 

  • We want you to feel confident in your creation, so what does that look like for you? This is the perfect time to showcase what YOU’RE best at. Be creative. Stand out. Shoot for the moon!

Step 3: The quality of your entry photo is key to your success! Here are 3 easy steps to make sure your talent shines through.  

 #PROtips:   

  • Plan: Make sure your model and work are the focal point of the image. If you are taking a photo on your phone, solid backgrounds with natural or ring lighting look best.  

  • Shoot: Take several photos from various angles! This way, you’ll have multiple options to choose from when you submit your final shot!   

  • Crop: Because your work will be entered via Instagram, we recommend shooting in portrait (4:5) or square (1:1) for the best visual appearance on the app.  

Don’t forget that videos and carousel posts are not valid entries. You can enter as many different photos of your look as you’d like, however, they must all be posted separately.
