It’s no secret that finding the perfect model (AKA canvas) will make or break your #BEA2022 entry. Here at Wella Studios we encourage inclusive model casting and we have some #PROtips that just might help you in your search for the perfect model to showcase your winning entry.

Remember, when creating an inclusive casting, you’ll need to consider race, gender identity, age, size, height, and ability. It’s important to make it clear in your casting notice that you want to see models of all backgrounds.

In order to create an inviting and inclusive casting call brief, we recommend sharing whether the role is open to all gender identities or indicating whether you’re looking for a male or female identifying model. It’s also important to include details on accessibility accommodations and contact information for auditions.

PSA: Inclusivity in model casting for #BEA2022 doesn’t just stop at hair, but can (and should 😉) be incorporated into nail looks too! This could include diversity with vitiligo, age, skin tone, hand size, nail shape, and even distinct marks or tattoos.
