EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO ENTER #BEA2022
Are you thinking about entering the 2022 Beauty Envision Awards but not sure where to start? You’ve come to the right place! Here’s everything you need to know to get your entry competition-ready.
STEP 1: SELECT YOUR CATEGORY
Check out this year’s competition categories and select one that you think will best showcase your style and vision. Can’t narrow it down to just one? No worries. You can enter as many times as you like in as many categories as you like!
#PROtip: Make sure to read through each category description so that you have a better understanding of where your style and passion fits!
STEP 2: FIND YOUR INSPIRATION
Now that you’ve picked your category (or categories), it’s time to get #inspired!

STEP 3: SNAP THE PERFECT AFTER SHOT
Photography can make or break the judging process, and because so much of this years’ competition is virtual, it is imperative that you capture the essence of your entry perfectly so that your work can shine through as brightly as it does in real life. Getting a photographer is ideal, but not everyone can get one and we understand that! Below are some tips on how to snap a great shot on your own.
#PROtips:
Plan your shot. Make sure your work is the focal point of the image. Solid backgrounds with natural or ring lighting work the best.
Crop it correctly. You’ll be posting your entry to Instagram, so you’ll want to use social media best practices when taking your photos. We recommend shooting in portrait (4:5) or cropping to a square (1:1) as these are what look best in the app.
Get a few options. Make sure to capture your look from different angles, that way you have multiple options to choose from when it comes time to select your entry. But don’t forget, you’ll have to narrow it down to one final image, carousel posts on Instagram won’t qualify. If you want to post your look from multiple angles, make sure to post each image separately and to follow all the guidelines for each entry.
STEP 4: ADD THE #BEA2022 LOGO TO YOUR ENTRY IMAGE
If you want your entry to stand out, add our watermark to your entry before posting to Instagram.
Download the watermark by clicking the links below. A new tab should open, and from there you should be able to save the image to your phone. Note: depending on what mobile browser your phone uses, the watermark may blend in with the background. Don’t worry– it is there for you to save.
STEP 5: POST YOUR ENTRY ON INSTAGRAM
In order to ensure we don’t miss your work, make sure you’re using the correct category hashtag in the main caption of your post and don’t forget to mention @wellaeducation.
STEP 6: ASK YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO VOTE
Now that all the hard work is done, it’s time to show off what you’ve created. Find your post on the BEA website, and direct your friends and family there to vote for your entry!
#PROtip: You can also promote the page link on your social media accounts. Just go to the category page for your entry and grab the URL to share!
