MEET OUR #BEA2022 MENTORS

The Beauty Envision Awards journey has multiple stops: crafting your entry, executing your vision, and hopefully, taking home the title of the #BEA2022 Winner. However, one of the most invaluable parts of this experience is learning from the industry’s best. 

This year, we’re introducing seven experts who will help our finalists align their entries with the stars. With decades of combined experience, titles and awards, these mentors are truly inspirational and are excited to mentor!  

US Trendvision Color Artist: Nicole Revish

Wella Design Team Artist and Celebrity Stylist Nicole Revish is a master colorist and Creative Director of her brand, Nicole Revish Salon & Beauty. 

CA Trendvision Color Artist: Lisa Smith

Wella Design Team Artist Lisa Smith is an esteemed educator, mentor, artist and salon owner. She’s also a previous BEA Winner in the Elite category.  

Creative Artist: Omar Antonio

Sebastian International Artist, Omar Antonio, is an artist that happens to be a hairdresser. Known for his Avant Garde work, designs and attention to detail, he  

Bridal Artist: Akela Douglas

Wella portfolio and GHD Educator Akela Douglas is a 2x BEA winner in the Natural Texture and Creative Artist categories and most recently the ITVA Silver Medal US Craft winner. She’s a talented hairstylist and an incredible mentor.  

Natural Texture: Toni Jackson

Clairol Professional & Wella Color Charm Top Artist Toni Jackson is a Master Colorist located in NYC. She’s also a renowned celebrity stylist with experience working in print, television, and film. 

Future Star: Brigitte Castonguay

Wella Design Team Artist Brigitte Castonguay is an expert hairstylist and educator who specializes in creative bold color. 

Nails Artist: Lavette Cephus 

Atlanta based nail artist Lavette Cephus is the owner of the acclaimed Beaute Asylum the Salon. She’s also a NTNA Winner and fashion stylist at Adose.
